Lena for Europe!

So the thing nobody of us dared to dream about came true. Lena Meyer-Landrut has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo!

The young sympathic German girl who was casted in Stefan Raab's show 'Unser Star für Oslo' rocked the show and brought the contest after 28 years back to Germany.
After breaking all the records in Germany before the show on last Saturday, May 29th 2010, almost everybody in Germany loved her and her catchy song 'Satellite'. Now she isn't only Number 1 in Germany but all over Europe.
9 Times our 'crazy-girl-from-next-door' got the 'Twelve Points' and sent whole Germany into transports of joy. After 28 years without a German winner, Lena got the second highest point-advance after last year's winner Alexander Rybak from Norway.
Not like many other candidates, Lena made neither a big performance, nor she had any dancers. It was just her and three backround singer on the stage, just her voice and her magical charisma.

Back in her homecountry she was greeted by tenthousands of fans and started her media-marathon with a large number of shows, revisions and live shots. She's the beloved of an entire country, maybe even of an entire continent.

We thank you so much Lena, for winning this unbelivable show!
You are our Star! May you stay as great and down to earth as you've been before that success!

Anyway, we wish you the best luck for next year! Since her mentor Raab announced Lena will defend her 'winning the European Singer Championship' in Germany next year, a lot of people supported this idea! Just the topic where it will take place is one to be discussed hotly now.
Everybody wants to see, hear, have Lena. We could use her as a backup for your National Soccer Team or (like people tweeted two days ago) "Lena for President!". A bit ironic since the German president, Horst Köhler, just announced his retirement. I assume if we had to elect one today Lena would be Miss President tomorrow already.
Wow. Lenamania ♥

mayweather

They always say the rain in may makes things grow. The trees and flowers. The children. Well, the last point is open to be discussed. But who wants to have rain in may anyway?
Sure, the nature needs it, but the nature can't lack temperatures like in January. It's the 7th of May and I honestly walked around today wearing my skiingjacket because I was sooo cold.
Just for you to remember - two weeks ago I spend the afternoons in the garden, wearing shorts and a top, using suncream and sun glasses. This is totally unbelievable.
Now I have one wish. Summer back, please! The flora needs it as well. And I want to go jogging again.
Plus the sun gives you a better mood automatically, isn't that great?
Let's hope for an increasement. T-Shirts out, skiingjackets in.

The Power of Daisies

Isn't it always the same? No matter what age you are, as a woman you'll always check out your potential lovers with the probably most primitive approach ever. The power of a daisy.
Actually, I am having NO idea why we do it to us over and over again after falling in love, but it must do something to us. Why the hell should we lie in the garden, plucking daisies from the grass and pulling out their petals while saying 'he loves me - he does not love me - he loves me ..' ?
I mean, yes, it is absolutely naive and irrelevant, but it must have an effect on us. We believe in it - as long as the answer is the one we desired. If it should appear not to be the desired one, we'll just take another daisy, repeating our work - until we'll get the 'right' answer.
Totally dumb. But hey: The daisy is 50 % right, isn't she?

Danke, Natur! Jetzt hast du dir selbst geholfen, unser Klima ansatzweise zu retten.
Natur = Vulkanausbruch = Asche = Flugverbot = weniger Emissionen = Klimaschutz.

Alles muss sie selber machen, die Arme!

stop dying.

Everyday I see you.
Everyday I talk to you.
And I know
that you'll talk about her and your plans.

Well.
She's a million miles away.
She has her own life.
Stop living in your own world
come back to reality.
Stop dying. Dying.
I can't stand it anymore.

It's like you're obsessed
with the idea of meeting her.
Everytime you start this topic
I shut my ears, roll away my eyes.
Can't you see?

Well.
She's a million miles away.
She has her own life.
Stop living in your own world
come back to reality.
Stop dying. Dying.
I can't stand it anymore.

You changed so much.
Gave up reality. Your life.
If you don't stop it's too late.
Even for me.
I'm sorry to lose you for this.
But I can't stand it anymore.
I can't stand it anymore.

Well.
She's a million miles away.
She has her own life.
Stop living in your own world
come back to reality.
Stop dying. Dying.
I can't stand it anymore.
Anymore.
A million miles away.

Acutally a song about a friend of mine I wrote last autumn. The lyrics anyway. No idea about the musical part exists till now. I thought it was worth publishing. All the rights of the lyrics and the picture do I own. Thanks.
