let life begin again. feeling amazing. despite rain. because of water. and smiling people. praying. daring. doing. or never seeing people again. it would not matter. but maybe, possibly the best is about to begin. and i have mocking arguments on my side. and back-up.

a wonderful time to each and every single person. have the best time of your life, it will never come back again. you cannot turn back the time. so live now. today. in this very second.

sunday afternoons

originally this one should have been entirely dedicated to my biology paper - and i promise to go back to work in a few minutes - but sometimes we have to let our thoughts flow. otherwise our mind can't start working on what it should be working on.
anyway. some things aren't good combinations concerning our mental and emotional health. certain people who contact you again, several pictures, blog entries, book quotations and songs - all rising to the surface again at the same time. together with new music and old thoughts .. one can't be sure whether it will be better than before. after all the bad stuff you went through. but there's hope. and old flames which refuse to die. and if there weren't other, new people, it could be easier. but it isn't. never was and never will be. 

confusion

because we encounter times in our lives when we have no idea what to do. what to talk about. what to answer to simple questions. how to behave. what to believe and whom to trust. in this moments you just want to stop and either break down everything you used to do and be and change entirely. or you decide to stick to what you know and hope everything else around you is changing while you can remain the way you are, not excepting the challenge. so what's your choice?

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

so schnell geht das. von null auf hundert in wenigen stunden. und sogar das ziel erreicht. das zwischenziel zumindest. morgen geht der brief an die post. und zwar wörtlich und metaphorisch. weil ich einfach mal so cool bin, einen brief an den briefzusteller persönlich zu schreiben - in der hoffung da bald auch mitmachen zu dürfen und ENDLICH auch mal daran mitzuarbeiten, dass meine briefe und die aller anderen menschen sicher und schnell ankommen - und ihnen hoffentlich eine freude bereitet wird.
von daher wird jetzt ab morgen gewartet und gehofft, weil das schon so eine art traumjob wäre. aber alles wird gut, wenn man das wirklich will. morgen genauso wie vor 100 jahren. ♥

that's what one of my favourite songs of all times speaks about. that THE REST IS STILL UNWRITTEN. it's a favourite because it is the complete truth. our own future is up to us, we write it and decide what the next chapter is all about. and since that is how it works, i hope to write an exciting script soon. because a book without risks and action isn't too interesting to read. we should start writting tonight, don't you think?

and what did this nice man tell us this week? believe in your dreams 20 secs a day and you'll reach them if you truly want. i definitely want and i suppose the 20 seconds are nothing to worry about. i can handle that every ten minutes.

after him i stopped believing in certain things. he tought me what it felt like to fall for a friend. several times. i thought it was the only way and that falling for strangers was impossible. that love on first sight was kind of a joke.

but i guess all the movies and books did not lie. it all is true. the butterflies in your stomach. your wobbling knees. the stopping and faster beating heart. the smiles.

but most of all the feeling. the feeling to know somebody all your life without ever having talked to him. i do know that it sounds spooky and childish, but i learned that this feeling exists and i thank you for it. even if i that should be all, i am exceptionally grateful that you brought the magic back.

Julie & Max [part II]

Der Weg bis zur Bäckerei war nicht weit. Der Park um die Halle, der Parkplatz. Die Straße. Und dann noch ein paar Läden. Julie ließ sich bei ihrem kleinen Spaziergang Zeit.  Die Sonne kämpfte sich tief stehend durch den Nebel und hatte langsam Erfolg.
Die Bäckerei war klein, aber Julie liebte den Geruch von frischen Brötchen und Kuchen, der für Bäckereien so typisch war.
Das warme Licht, der Geruch und eine sehr angenehme Temperatur begrüßten sie, als sie die Tür aufstieß.
Und ein Junge in ihrem Alter.
Dunkle, zerzauste Haare, ein Hauch von Müdigkeit im Gesicht und bezaubernde blaue Augen. Als er sich umdrehte und Julie erblickte, zeigte sich ein Lächeln auf seinem Gesicht.
„Hey. Schon wach?“
Julie schaute ihn kurz an, versuchte ihre Wut im Griff zu behalten und setzte ein müdes Lächeln auf. „Flohmarkt.“
„Hier? Echt?“ Pause. „Cool.“
Ein stummes Nicken, hochgezogene Brauen – und ein „Junger Herr, wie kann ich Ihnen helfen?“ von der älteren Dame hinter dem Tresen.
Er drehte sich halb erleichtert, halb verlegen um und bestellte sieben normale und vier Körnerbrötchen.
Julie schaute währenddessen aus dem  Fenster, wartete und versuchte ruhig zu atmen. Sie war an weiterem Smalltalk mit dem Jungen nicht interessiert. Nicht nach allem, was geschehen war.
Er schien leicht verwirrt darüber, bezahlte und wirkte, als wollte er noch mehr sagen. Mehr fragen. Aber als er Julie einfach so bestellen sah, ließ er sie mit einem „Wir sehen und Montag“ zurück und verließ den Lagen. Julie blickte ihm nach, als er kopfschüttelnd auf sein Fahrrad stieg und wegfuhr.
Julie bezahlte und trat hinaus in die kalte Morgenluft. Doch sie bereute es nicht. Er hatte es keinesfalls verdient, besser behandelt zu werden. Nicht von ihr. Nicht, solange er es nicht von selbst merkte. Ganz bestimmt nicht.
